Uses

Generic Viagra Super Active (Sildenafil) is used to relax the muscles of and increase the blood flow to the penis, thereby achieving an erection upon sexual stimulus.

Generic Viagra Super Active is intended for men 65 years and older who have problems in getting an erection. If you are taking Generic Viagra Super Active for the first time, it is strongly recommended that you start with the lowest dosage of the drug.

How to take

Follow your doctor®s instructions religiously. Do not take larger or smaller amounts of the medication, or use it for longer than recommended. Unless otherwise instructed by your doctor, take a single Generic Viagra Super Active tablet approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour before planned sexual activity. The tablet should be swallowed whole with a full glass of water.

Do not exceed the recommended dosage of one tablet per day. Taking the Generic Viagra Super Active does not guarantee an erection.

Side effects

Different people taking Generic Viagra Super Active may experience different side effects. The most commonly reported side effects (1-10% of users) are headaches, nasal congestion, dizziness, flushing, indigestion and nausea, temporary and slight visual impairments such as blurry vision, blue tinges in sight.

Precautions

Do not take Generic Viagra Super Active if you are also taking nitrate-based medications treating chest pain or heart problems. Before taking Generic Viagra Super Active, speak to your doctor and make sure your physical health permits it. It is highly recommended that you speak to your doctor before taking this medication, especially if you have any of the following conditions:

Heart disease or heart rhythm disorders;
You were advised not to have sexual intercourse for health reasons;
Liver or kidney disease;
You have had a heart attack, stroke or heart failure in the past 6 months;
High or low blood pressure;
Sickle cell anemia, leukemia or other blood cell disorders;
Hemophilia or other bleeding condition;
If you have a stomach ulcer;
If you have an inherited eye disorder such as retinitis pigmentosa;
If you have some physical deformity of the penis

Avoid drinking alcohol while on Generic Viagra Super Active, as this may increase possible side effects. Avoid taking other medications used to treat impotence at the same time of taking this medication, without first talking about these with your doctor. Do not drive, operate machinery or do anything that could be dangerous until you know how your body reacts to this medicine. You should remember to sit up or stand slowly when rising from a seated or lying position while on this medication.

Drug interactions

Do not take this medicine if you’ve had an allergic reaction to it in the past or to any other ingredient that it contains. Inform your doctor of any nitrate-based medications you are currently taking.

Your dose is based on your medical condition, response to therapy, and the other medicines you are taking. Do not exceed the recommended dose without first consulting your doctor. Rarely, this medicine may change heart rhythm, especially if taken with other medicines that can affect your heart rhythm. This may result in serious, but rarely fatal, irregular heartbeats. Ask your doctor for more information and if you should stop taking any of your other medicines to reduce the risk of this side effect.

Storage

Store at room temperature between 59F-86F (15C-30C) in a sealed package or container. Keep away from moisture, heat and light. The drug may be stored in a temperature of up to 86F/30C for a brief period of time only. Keep away from the reach of children.
